Hmm, sometimes we need to do a self portrait just to see ourselves in the mirror. In our minds, in our souls, much remains hidden even from ourselves. I found  dketching out painting a self portrait will reveal alot. This one certainly did. Seems like the darkness and light are in a struggle in this one. It went in a totaly different direction then I originally started with. I kept it loose and free from the start. Oil is great in that way, some of the best things happen by accident. We can also f**k up a painting, but thats how she goes.

See what happens, when you don't comb your hair. You have not listened to your mother when you were a kid!!!hehe Just kidding, it is cool how you kept it loose. Well at least the female figure is way way in the back, and that is a good sign. Year ago she would have been a close up...

Thanx guys, glad you like. ha, for the next one ,i 'll grab a comb before i start doodling. The girl may be in the back, but this one is just some randome babe wondering why this dude isnt makiing moves on her hottness. haha. Somthing I unfortunantly run into lately.
